- 36 year old mother to 6 1/2 year old Talia, 3 yr old Alex, and 7 month old Shayna. I retired from Pediatric Intensive Care Nursing in 2007. My family moved from Philadelphia to Madison, Wisconsin in July 07. I love to craft, quilt, cook and read. Spending time with my kids is ok too! In the last few years I've gotten into green living by trying to eat local, compost, cloth diaper and garden. As a family we are enjoying exploring Madison and transitioning from being East Coast people to Midwesterners. (Updated 09/10)

A little more "girly" than yours Denise! T just painted a BIG flowerpot this weekend. I'm excited to plant something but I don't want to jump the gun... I mean, it's a LITTLE COLD out there! My new friends at the Bruce Company said to wait a few more weeks before starting seeds indoors :( but I'm ALL READY for it!
